Baseball Day

Parents, Managers and Coaches MTLL's "Baseball Day” – featuring Baseball Olympics, Skills Competition, Home Run Derby is Saturday June 4th - Marple Complex.

Date : Saturday, June 4th, 2022,

Time: 12 - 4 pm.

Event details: All teams in MTLL

Location: Marple Complex

Parking Restrictions : No parking is allowed at the Temple Sholom Synagogue. Please prepare to park at Marple Upper Parking Lot, Marple Presbyterian Church, or in the surrounding neighborhoods.

Attire: Parents please have your children wear their team jersey, hat and cleats. Shorts can be worn. Also, any player that wants to be in the outfield during the Home Run Derby is required to be: 1. At least 10 yrs old and 2. Must wear a batting helmet in the field if catching fly balls (for safety reasons)

Activities to Include :

Baseball Olympics – T-BALL, Minor C, and Minor B - Events include relay races, water balloon toss, and more

Skills Competition – Minor A and Majors - Events include – Around the Horn, Team Races, Outfield to Home Throwing Competition, Water Balloon Toss

Home Run Derby – All 12 years are eligible, along with any player in the Majors who hit a home run over the fence. ONLY USA APPROVED BATS CAN BE USED

To add to the Home Run Derby excitement, be sure to purchase a Home Run Derby Power Ball before the Home Run Derby begins. Each ball will be $10

The additional activities are planned for the day:

Moon Bounce, Dunk Tank, Speed Pitch
